2nd Annual WL Color Run
Saturday, June 3, 2017
The WL Color Run utilizes a safe concoction of cornstarch and dye which is sprinkled onto faces, shirts, shorts and skin during a 3 mile run through our local park. We plan to have several color stations throughout the course. Participants will do two loops around the course to equal a 5K so this will be a great event for spectators to watch too! This event is a fun run and is not timed. Participants can run, jog or walk the course. Can't do 3 miles? That's OK, you can just do one loop around instead for 1.5 miles total. There are no age restrictions for this event and you will be running on grass and minimal areas of pavement. The goal of the color run is to have your teams of friends make their way through the course to the finish line being colored from head to toe with a rainbow of washable and biodegradable paint. Participants are encouraged to bring a change of clothes or a blanket for the ride home in their vehicles.
Free souvenir t-shirt to the first 100 online registrants. All participants will recieve a paint packet and bandana on the day of the run.
If you prefer to register offline, click here to download a paper registration form and mail with a check to the address on the form.
Children 6 are welcome and under may participate for free. They don't need to be registered and they will not receive a free t-shirt, but will get a paint packet and bandana.
